Simple Instructions
Both today in our family BoM study in the 36th and 37th chapters of Alma and in my personal study of the last chapter of 1Nephi, I read the promise that if we keep the commandments and endure to the end, we will be blessed. Although keeping the commandments and enduring to the end feel like a challenge, it is really all we need to do. Heavenly Father does not give complicated formulas for eternal life or make us guess what we need to do. The instructions are so simple, keep the commandments and endure to the end and we will be blessed.

I remember grandma (Helen), who was so strong in the gospel, always used to say she just hoped she could endure to the end. I remember my sister, Janielle and I were with her at the end. I recall Janielle reminding grandma, shortly before she died that she had achieved that goal. Grandma died peacefully, sure in the knowledge she had indeed endured to the end. I hope we can all be so lucky.
It really is very simple, isn't it?? Why is it so hard sometimes to do that which is so simple? It really is a so much happier and easier life to live the Gospel!!
